This week, I finished compiling four speculative fiction collectionsā€”Influenced, Outraged, Cancelled, and Muted. Iā€™m also back writing The Prince and the Fool, and considering an Amazon-only release for The Ravenglass Throne.

I also returned to writing The Prince and the Fool (Ravenglass Legends, Book 4). It feels great to be back in the world of epic fantasy after a detour into short fiction. The storyā€™s gaining momentum again, and Iā€™m excited to see where it leads.

On the publishing front, Iā€™ve received two new covers for The Ravenglass Throne and am considering a pivot to releasing the series exclusively on Amazonā€”though it will remain Patreon-first for early access.

šŸ° Nearing the End of The Ravenglass Throne & Adjusting My Schedule | Author Diary ā€“ February 14, 2025 šŸ“šāœØ

This week has been a lighter one, as Iā€™ve mostly been resting after a big push on Book 11 of The Ravenglass Throne over the weekend.

Now, Iā€™m onto the final novella in the seriesā€”the last stretch is in sight!

Iā€™ve also been reading The 10 Cent Plague, a fascinating history of comic books in America.

Itā€™s been a great read, full of insight into the cultural impact and controversies surrounding comics.

On the scheduling side, I realised I miscalculated my timelineā€”I originally planned to have Book 12 finished by February 22, but I didnā€™t account for my sonā€™s half-term break.

So, Iā€™m pushing my deadline back a week to give myself more breathing room.

šŸ° Closing in on The Ravenglass Throne Book 9 & A New Idea for Guild of Assassins | Author Diary ā€“ January 31, 2025 šŸ“šāœØ

This week, Iā€™ve been pushing forward with Book 9 of The Ravenglass Throneā€”Iā€™m just three chapters away from finishing my first draft!

The end is in sight, and Iā€™m excited to bring this part of the story to a close.

Despite my focus on The Ravenglass Throne, inspiration struck for Guild of Assassins book 4, and I couldnā€™t resist writing the first chapter.

But for now, I need to rein myself in and stay on track with The Ravenglass Throne!

In terms of reading, Iā€™ve been making my way through Crown, Cloak and Dagger, which delves into the British royal familyā€™s connections with secret intelligence. Itā€™s fascinating and definitely great story fuel.
