Cross-Bay Walk for Galloway’s Society for the Blind

Embarking on my third Cross-Bay Walk for an incredible cause: Galloway’s Society for the Blind. Join me in making a difference!

Hello from sunny Morecambe!

For the third consecutive year, I am stepping out to the challenging terrains of Morecambe Bay to embark on the exhilarating Cross-Bay Walk.

But I’m not just walking for fun—I’m walking to raise money for Galloway’s Society for the Blind.

📅 When?

August 26th, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM

📍 Where?

Starting in the village of Sandgate, we’ll venture all the way to Chapel Island and back, with the experienced Guide to the Sands, Raymond Porter, leading us.

The journey covers approximately 5 miles of channels and quicksand (and if last year is anything to go by, gale-force winds).

Each year I’ve taken part has been  challenging yet immensely rewarding.

🎯 Why?

Your sponsorship and support will help make a tangible difference in the lives of those who benefit from the incredible work done by Galloway’s Society for the Blind.
