📝 “The Knight and the Rebel” Update:

I’ve reached a pivotal moment this week by finishing the first draft of Ragnar’s POV in “The Knight and the Rebel,” part of the Ravenglass Legends series. It’s always rewarding to complete a major section of a novel, and I’m looking forward to the next phases of revision.

🧟‍♂️ “Punks Versus Zombies” Progress:

In addition to my work on Ravenglass Legends, I’ve written two new episodes of “Punks Versus Zombies.” Over the next few weeks, I’ll be focusing more intensely on this series, aiming to develop and refine these episodes further.

🎥 Watching and Enjoying:

  • Fallout on Amazon Prime: I started watching the new series based on the Fallout video game. It’s been an exciting watch, capturing the essence of the game with a compelling narrative twist.
  • Continuing “The Gentlemen” by Guy Ritchie: I’m nearing the end of “The Gentlemen” on Netflix. This series continues to impress with its clever storytelling and dynamic characters.

📚 Reading Update:

I’m almost finished with “Ferrus Manus,” part of the Warhammer 40k universe. This novel has been a thrilling read, and I’m eager to share my final thoughts on it soon.

As I pivot my focus to “Punks Versus Zombies” while balancing my entertainment interests, I look forward to sharing more updates and insights.

✍️ Redrafting “The Wolf and the Wyvern”:

This week also saw significant progress on “The Wolf and the Wyvern,” with two chapters undergoing a redraft. Refining these parts of the book is both challenging and rewarding, and I’m eager to see how these changes enhance the overall narrative.

📚 Reading Journey:

Finished “Yellowface” by Rebecca Kuang: An excellent satire on the publishing industry, this book was both insightful and entertaining, providing much food for thought.

Currently Reading “The Book of Yokai”: My current read delves into the fascinating world of Japanese folklore and mythical creatures. It’s proving to be an intriguing and enriching experience.

Welcome to this week’s Author Diary! After the whirlwind launch of “The Fall of Wolfsbane,” I took a well-deserved break to recharge. Now, I’m back with some exciting updates on my ongoing projects and recent reads!

🌿 Post-Launch Rest: Taking a few days off post-launch was essential. It gave me the much-needed time to relax and rejuvenate after the intense period leading up to the release of “The Fall of Wolfsbane.”

🐺 Progress on “The Wolf and the Wyvern”: I’ve made substantial progress in redrafting Ragnar’s story in “The Wolf and the Wyvern,” nearing the end of this crucial phase. It’s shaping up to be an enthralling part of the Ravenglass Legends series.

📚 This Week’s Reads:

  • “Nolyn” by Michael J. Sullivan: Diving into this fantasy world has been a delightful experience.
  • “Conspiratuality” by Derek Beres, Julian Walker, and Matthew Remski: An intriguing read that explores the intersection of conspiracy theories and spirituality.

🧟‍♂️ Outlining “Punks Versus Zombies“: I’ve outlined the remainder of the “Punks Versus Zombies” series. This step is vital in steering the serial towards a satisfying conclusion, and I can’t wait to share the final chapters with you all.

Looking forward to the coming week, I plan to continue my work on “The Wolf and the Wyvern” and gradually bring “Punks Versus Zombies” to its epic finale.

Hello from sunny Morecambe!

Another week, another set of chapters in the bag. I’ve been carrying on with my Substack series ‘Guild of Assassins,’ with two more chapters complete and ready for your eyes.

In addition to that, I’ve started writing a new story—a follow-up to ‘Orphan Farm Boy of Destiny’ entitled ‘The Unchosen One.’

I’ll be releasing on my Substack every other Wednesday…for free.  

On the reading front, the Horus Heresy series remains my literary companion. Currently engrossed in ‘Angel Exterminatus’—book 23, for those keeping track.
